Quality Policy
First Call is committed to providing highways, traffic management, civil engineering and utilities services that consistently meet the requirements of our customers, regulators and the standards we hold ourselves to. Quality is central to how we plan, resource and deliver every contract, from a single reactive callout to a multi-year framework.
Our commitment
We are committed to:
- Meeting the requirements of our customers, and relevant statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations
- Operating and maintaining a Quality Management System aligned to ISO 9001:2015
- Continually improving the effectiveness of our processes and the services we deliver
- Setting and reviewing measurable quality objectives across the business
- Ensuring our people have the training, competence and resources needed to deliver work right first time
How we deliver this
Our Quality Management System is embedded across every operating activity — traffic management, civil engineering, utilities, smart city infrastructure, cable recovery and fibre build — and is subject to regular internal audit and management review to ensure it remains effective and continues to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Accountability
Overall responsibility for this policy rests with the Managing Director, who ensures the necessary resources are made available to maintain and improve our Quality Management System. Every member of staff is responsible for the quality of their own work and for reporting any issues that could affect the service we provide.
Review
This policy is reviewed annually, or sooner where changes in the business, our services or applicable standards require it, to ensure it remains current and effective.
